Privacy Policy

1. Introduction to Our Privacy Commitment
At LabelPrime ("we," "our," or "us"), we are deeply committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users ("you," "your," or "sellers"). We understand that as an e-commerce seller operating on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Meesho, you handle sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of your end-customers. Our software architecture is explicitly designed to minimize our access to this data, prioritizing a client-side execution model that keeps your business data on your local device. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (www.labelprime.in) or use our LabelPrime application.
2. The "Zero-Upload" PDF Processing Architecture
It is crucial to understand how our core product operates. When you use the LabelPrime tool to parse, crop, sort, or manipulate shipping labels (PDF files) downloaded from e-commerce marketplaces, your PDF files are never uploaded to our servers.
- Local Processing: We utilize advanced WebAssembly (WASM) and browser-based JavaScript APIs to process the documents locally within your browser's memory sandbox.
- Zero Data Retention: Because the processing happens locally, we do not have the technical ability to read, store, or copy the customer names, addresses, phone numbers, or product details contained within your shipping labels.
- Compliance Support: This architecture helps you, the seller, maintain compliance with strict data protection regulations (like the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in India, and the GDPR) as well as the strict Terms of Service enforced by marketplaces like Amazon regarding the handling of customer PII.
3. Information We Do Collect
While we do not touch your shipping data, we do collect information necessary to operate our business and provide you with account services:
- Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password (which is securely hashed using industry-standard bcrypt algorithms).
- Billing Information: If you purchase a premium subscription, our third-party payment processors (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe) will collect your billing details. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Usage Analytics: We collect anonymized, aggregated telemetry data regarding how our application is used. This includes which tools are accessed (e.g., "Amazon Cropper" vs. "Meesho Cropper"), the frequency of use, browser type, and operating system. This helps us prioritize feature development.
- Support Communications: If you contact our customer support team, we retain the contents of those communications to assist you effectively.
4. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used strictly for the following operational purposes:
- To create, maintain, and secure your account.
- To process your transactions and send related information, including confirmations and invoices.
- To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
- To send administrative messages, security alerts, and technical notices.
- To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services to improve user experience.
5. Third-Party Advertising and Cookies
LabelPrime uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. We also partner with third-party ad networks, primarily Google AdSense, to display advertising on our free-tier pages.
- Google AdSense: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads on our site based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites on the Internet.
- Opt-Out: Users may opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
- Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic. You can opt-out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
6. Data Security Practices
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to protect your account information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes enforcing HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) for all data in transit and utilizing secure, audited cloud infrastructure (like AWS or Vercel) for our database and application hosting.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, technical, or business developments. When we update our Privacy Policy, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. We will obtain your consent to any material Privacy Policy changes if and where this is required by applicable data protection laws.
